Privacy Policy
How AlphaLab9 handles the data you share with us.
## [01_what_we_collect]
When you join the Iris9 or Silentium9 waitlist: your email address.
When you request access to Iris9: your email address and a short description of what you'd use Iris9 for.
When you browse the site: basic product analytics events such as page views, button clicks, product-link clicks, contact-link clicks, and whether a waitlist form succeeded or failed. These events may include technical metadata such as page URL/path, browser/device information, referrer, and event time.
We do not intentionally send directly identifying form data — such as your name, email address, or Iris9 use-case text — to analytics.
## [02_why_we_collect]
- Waitlist emails — to notify you when the product you signed up for becomes available or opens its next access round.
- Iris9 use-case text — to evaluate whether your intended use fits Iris9's current invite-only scope.
- Product analytics — to understand which pages and product links are useful, whether waitlist flows are working, and where the site needs improvement.
## [03_where_its_stored]
All waitlist and access-request data is stored in an EU-hosted backend datastore. Access controls are configured so only authorised AlphaLab9 administrators can read the data.
The website itself is hosted on a DigitalOcean droplet in the EU.
## [04_retention]
We keep your waitlist data until one of the following happens:
- The product launches publicly — we notify you, then delete your waitlist entry.
- You ask us to delete it — see [06_your_rights].
- Three years pass without launch or contact from you.
## [05_analytics]
alphalab9.com uses PostHog Cloud EU for lightweight product analytics. Analytics is configured with memory-only persistence, no analytics cookies, and no session recording.
We use this to understand which pages and product links are useful, whether waitlist flows are working, and where the site needs improvement.
We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or analytics session recording.
Note: your browser will still load fonts and JavaScript libraries from third-party CDNs when you visit — see [08_third_parties].
## [06_your_rights]
Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct data that's wrong.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email office@alphalab9.com. We respond within 30 days.
## [07_no_training_no_selling]
We do not use your data to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
We do not share your data for advertising.
## [08_third_parties]
alphalab9.com loads these third-party assets when you visit:
- Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.com,fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the JetBrains Mono typeface. - jsDelivr / CDNJS — serves JavaScript libraries (Three.js, GSAP, Lenis).
- PostHog Cloud EU (
eu.i.posthog.com) — receives lightweight product analytics events without session recording or analytics cookies. - Waitlist backend — receives your email when you submit a waitlist form.
These services may log your IP address and user agent when your browser requests the files. We have no control over their logging practices. If this concerns you, your browser's content blocker can block them — the site will still function.
## [09_changes]
If we change this policy, we update the "last updated" date below. Material changes are communicated to anyone on our waitlists via email.
